I met Christy Achillich of Full of Light Photography last year through Facebook and we have been trading photo tips ever since. Frankly, I’m surprised that it took us so long to come up with the idea of a session trade… and now that we did trade sessions I’m officially making it an annual event. I’m anxiously awaiting more previews… wink, wink;)

I had a blast chasing Raylan around the park, and watching everyone play with bubbles. Kyle and Raylan’s matching outfits were almost too much, and they were one of the sweetest families I’ve had the pleasure of shooting.

After the session, Christy and I rushed to look over our session photos (my family pics were on her camera from the day before) and I soon realized that in all the excitement I had locked my keys in the trunk (Doh!). Fortunately, my wonderful fiancé (aka, knight in shining armor) braved rush hour traffic to bring my spare set of keys and I got an extra hour to wander around the park with my camera… but I’ll save those shots for another post;)
