R.J. first introduced me to Doctor Who very early in our relationship. Thanks to the magic of Netflix, I started with the ninth Doctor and binged my way through the rest of the series. I’m currently working my way through the older episodes and I love me some Who! So when my friend Jeila invited me to Doctor Wholloween at USF, I was totally in… and when she asked me to make some crafty things to sell… I jumped at the chance (Hmm… Doctor Who, crafting, costumes, and dancing? Go ahead… twist my arm). I’m still creating goodies, but here’s a preview of what I’ve crafted up so far.
These items and others will be available for sale at Doctor Wholloween (Doctor Who themed and more. hmm… how about some Big Bang Theory?). If you have a special request or would like to preorder, let me know!
This free event is a costumed swing dance at USF’s Marshall Center on October 25th. No idea how to swing? No problem! Jeila and Dillon will be offering a free swing dance lesson to first timers before the dance begins.
Crazy Random Happenstance will be performing and there will be costume contests for Who and non-Who themed costumes… so dress to impress. There will also be tasty cupcakes for sale and you can even get your picture taken in the TARDIS!
This event is free to everyone, so invite your friends and spread the word!
How much will you be selling the Dalek and Tardis makeup bags for?
The bags will be $15 and I will be able to accept cash or credit at the event. If you cannot make it to Doctor Wholloween, I am currently taking orders and can accept PayPal and ship the bags to you:)
Do you still have some of these items for sale? Or are you planning to make any? I’m particularly fond of the Fez earrings and Tardis make-up bag.
I currently only have a cybermen bag left, but I could make up another Tardis bag if you’re interested 🙂 email me at krysteena.marie@gmail.com and we’ll get something set up!
